FESTIVAL WEAR // GIPSY DHARMA

Last week I shared Gipsy Dharma on The Bohemian Collective, and I wanted to share them here too.  They hand make beautiful leather footwear and clothing that looks like it is just made for romping around at a festival or hooping the night away.

The boots above are my favorite ones, although they are hard to choose from.  I'm such a sucker for earthy browns though.  My favorite part is the organic free style cut on the top of them... such a unique touch.  I love that they look like they are very adjustable to fit any size leg too.  That can be such a problem with boots b/c every woman is built differently.

They also make these beautiful free spirited pixie like skirts...  Again I love the ragged edges...

HANNAH CHLOE

Hannah Chloe on Roots & Feathers

After being a long time admirer of Hannah Adamaszek's (a.k.a. Hannah Chloe) amazingly beautiful bohemian paintings, I was absolutely honored and giddy with excitement when she contacted me to see if it would be okay to use one of my jewelry pieces as a muse in one of her paintings!  She chose this headband as her muse, and the gorgeous image above was the final result.  I love that she paints in large scale.  Her color palette is always divine, with the dark black contrasting against the soft colorful brush strokes.  It would be a dream to one day have an original hanging on my wall.

I'm excited that not only did Hannah send me a copy to hang in my studio, but she also sent along a print to giveaway to one of my readers!  So hop on over to the giveaway to win a giclee print!

Until I find just the right spot to hang it in my studio, I have it sitting on top of my shelf where I can admire it everyday as I work.

WILD HONEY APOTHECARY

wild honey apothecary

Today I wanted to share with you this yummy face scrub from Wild Honey Apothecary.  I have been using these consistently for the past 2-3 weeks and I am in love.  I have known of the amazing benefits of using raw honey on your face for a while, and in the past have used just that as my face wash.  But these are mixed with a bit of organic fair trade cane sugar to exfoliate your skin as well as essential oils that are not only theraputic but smell so good.  These are the best smelling concoctions and I soak in every chance I get to use them.  They leave me feeling refreshed and don't dry out my skin like alot of products (even natural) do.  I'm loving it and I just wanted to pass it along!  And... I love the old school typography they use on their labels, and they are waterproof!  I hate it when I get a wonderful bath product and then the labels get ruined the first time water touches them.  Better yet, all of their products are pure, organic and wild harvested.  The best.

RITUAL BATH

If there is one thing I love, it is creating ritual around my bathtime.  This has been a huge part of my life for many years now.  My bath time is sacred time.  When I take a bath I always wait until I know I can be in there for at least an hour, and I almost always bring companions with me, like a good book, my tarot deck, or a journal.  I use it as a time to self reflect and self love.  So naturally, this kit from Ritual Bath was a perfect companion for me on one of my baths, and more to come.  I pampered myself with the scrumptious face mask, body scrub and oatmeal bath soak.  It came with a set of affirmations, which I thought was a really great extra to come along with a bath set, so I reflected upon those while I was soaking my body.  I chose her Balance kit b/c that is a word Ive been working closely with for quite some time now.  Id love to try her Love Bath Set and Sweet Midnight Sugar Scrub

Best of all, Lauren, the creator, is a sweetheart.  Check out her etsy shop, twitter, facebook, instagram & pinterest for more!
